Charity Run and new event!

We hope everyone had fun at the Charity Run, which took place on the 4th of April! The event was a great success, and we are thankful for everyone, who took part and raised money for our worthy cause. There will be prizes for the pupils who raised the most money after the easter holidays!

On another note, we have a new event in preparation! On the ninth of May we will be hosting an event called “Colour their Future”, for the primary school of the German School London. The students will have the chance to spend a day doing different art projects with their friends, while raising money by paying an entrance fee and potentially auctioning their pictures at a later time. This will be a first for us, and we hope everything will work out fine! If you have any enquiries about this event, or would like an entrance form to sign up your child (please note that this is only for years three and four), please drop us an email (dslaktiv@dslondon.org.uk).

War Child

We are extremely exited to be able to announce that we are going to be supporting the Charity War Child this school year.

"War Child is a small charity which works with local partner organisations in places acutely affected by conflict - Iraq, Afghanistan, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic" in order to help children affected by war.

A new school year has started, which means we are exited to welcome some new team members!

We are currently trying to work out which charity we will be supporting this school year.

Update

Just a little update on our progress!

As you may have already read we have our annual charity run coming up on May, 24th!

The Grundschule will start their laps around the sports field at 10 am, and the Sekundarstufe will start their race on bike or by foot at around 12am.

There is no entryfee, nevertheless we hope to recieve many donations for our charities and see many motivated faces on the day!

We are also in the middle of preparing for our upcoming Charity Dinner on June, 15th, so make sure you save the date! and we will be sending an email shortly with more information.
